There is nothing like being by the water and having a full
view of the sky! I find that it refreshes, relaxes, feeds my soul.
I recently enjoyed a week at my cottage—and enjoyed the skies, water, card games, and rock collecting!

...at least, I thought it was John Muir!
On my last post on the ArtRocks blog, I talked about the multitude of mis-attributions that exist on the internet. This week, I found out that one of my favorite quotations by John Muir is a misquote!
The actual 1869 quote by Muir was "When we try to pick out anything by itself, we find it hitched to everything else in the universe." as noted by the Sierra Club website.

Quote Love Special Edition!
I try to make sure that the quotes I use on my Inspired Stones have been attributed to the correct speaker, especially if I get the quotes off of the web.
I have made mistakes in the past—thankfully acknowledged by an astute customer or two!
To sum it up with a great quote from Yogi Berra -
